Arthur Blank: McFluff: The I Can't Take A Bite Out Of Crime

Arthur Blank, owner of the NFL Atlanta Falcons held a presser
on Tuesday concerning the fate of one, Michael Vick, alleged
facilitator of the multi state illegal dog fighting ring in Virginia.
The Three Stooges, Owner, General Manager and Head
Coach were an enabling cabal for the MVP. Granted, the head
coach was just hired in the off season and has little, if any say
in the front office decisions made by the owner and general
manager. Blank "wanted" to throw the book at Vick, but was
preempted by the NFL Commissioner. The Commissioner ordered
Vick not to report to training camp starting this week. The
NFL would conduct a background investigation while the U.S
Federal Government continues their pursuit of the indictment
against Vick and three other players allegedly involved in the
dog fighting. Vick has played Blank like a Stradivarius, while
taking his millions and delivering nothing in return. When
Blank says that he will let the legal process play out before
moving forward with any further punishment, is at best, a
sham to all animal loving people. If a "lesser" playa was
accused of a similar crime, he would have already been cut
from the team. Everyday NFL teams release players for
various reasons. Most of these players are released for football
reasons, not for alleged criminal activity. By his "wait and see"
stance, Blank has opened up a potential avenue for players
released by teams "before" their day in court. When # 23
was involved in questionable activities, he went away and
played minor league baseball. He later returned as # 45.
Blank might be wishing Vick would just go away for awhile.
He should worry more about the long term legacy that his star
playa has put his team in. It is time to "cut" his loses and
take the salary cap hit and restore faith in the team that
is his heart and soul. The Post Vick Era should begin today
and get on with the business of winning football games and
not dog fights. "Arthur, you are invisible" You Haven't Done
Nothin' and we are sick and tired of hearing your song, telling
us how you are gonna change right from wrong. If you really
want to hear our view, you haven't done nothin'. The world
is tired of pacifiers, we want the truth and nothing else. Even
a blind man could see that. Blank, you were schooled by the
fool who took your millions and ran all the way to the bank.

My objection is not with his right to speak, but that he
puts his ladder against the wrong house. Olbermann is
one of the best sportscasters in America. When he
is on "The Big Show" with Dan Patrick, the two are a
perfect team. They examine the sports world in a
unique presentation. Olbermann is very knowledgeable
when it comes to sports, but his knowledge and depth
in politics is naive and ignorant. He should stay out
of politics and concentrate on sports. His Sunday night
Fox sports show years ago was great and original. His
credibility in political circles is laughable. His right to
an opinion is without question, but any "Hollywood"
actor or commentator could give the same left wing
view every night. ESPN Sportscaster. Fred Hickman,
also suffers from the Mr. Hyde ailment. The difference
between the two, at least Fred has stayed with sports.
Hickman will forever be linked to CNN and TBS.
He could discover a cure for cancer and would still
